A small group of local people gather to marvel at the night sky in this little village on coco beach in Madagascar. In the distance , lights from the city of Morondava glow on the horizon. Above them, the scene opens onto the southern sky along the galactic band, from Carina nebula to the Crux constellation and includes the bright stars Alpha and Beta Centuari (closest star to the solar system with 4.3 light years distance to Earth).
